Staffing Needs Assessments

Staffing Needs Assessments are reports which are usually funded through AFGP SAFER awards. Our reports help agencies identify potential volunteers by studying the current make-up of the department population and the community they serve. Our reports can help departments target gaps in response and attempt to recruit new members to fill those gaps. Staffing reports can also be helpful tools to comply with measurement and evaluation requirements found in federal fire grants.

Two of our major Staffing Reports include the national 2012 SAFER Terry Farrell Fund award report and a report for Great Neck Alert Fire Co. That report studied and reported on a 13 member SAFER Regional Award comprising almost all of western Nassau County on Long Island NY.
