FDPR COMPLETES SECURITY AND SAFETY TRAINING FOR NYC NON-PROFIT

FDPR is proud to announce the completion of a two-year security and safety training program for the Garibaldi-Meucci Museum in NYC’s Staten Island.

This program was funded through the NYS Fighting Hate Crimes in Our Community Grant Program and included on-site review and inspections and safety training for all staff of the Museum.

“Today we leave the facility a safer and more resilient campus than the one we found at the beginning of the program” said Christine Orsano, President of FDPR. “Visitors and staff received instruction in physical security and observational skills needed to secure non-profits from threats. “By identifying vulnerabilities and risks and explaining consequences of threats today, the Museum was able to take actionable steps in mitigating these ever-changing conditions.”

“Using our independent contractor network of NYS EMT’s, volunteer firefighters, retired police officers, detectives, Sergeants, Certified Emergency Managers and Certified Business Continuity Professionals; we were able to provide a unique perspective on safety and security in NYC today in a manner no one else could do. And we were able to accomplish the goal on-time and under budget.”

“Our Museum received updated alarms, doors, lighting, CCTV, and training”, said Joe Sciame Executive Director of the Museum. This hands-on instruction could not have been accomplished without FDPR”.
